How is the Bexa breast exam different from a mammogram?

Mammograms use x-ray to take detailed pictures of the breast to look for changes in the breast tissue. They are currently recommended as the gold standard way for people at average risk to screen for breast cancer. The Bexa breast exam looks for breast masses, which can sometimes indicate cancer.
