How can I schedule an appointment?

The Ella Hill Hutch Community Center testing site accepts on-the-spot registration only -- no appointment is required.

The Southeast Health Center testing site accepts on-the-spot registration only -- no appointment is required.

Where is the testing site located?

The Ella Hill Hutch Community Center testing site is located at 1181 Golden Gate Ave. - the site is pedestrian friendly only.

The Southeast Health Center testing site is located at 2401 Keith St. - the site is pedestrian friendly only.

What are the normal hours of operation for COVID-19 testing?

Ella Hill Hutch Community Center: Sunday - Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Southeast Health Center: Sunday - Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Who is eligible to get testing?

Anyone who lives in San Francisco and has a symptom of or close contact with COVID-19 or who works in San Francisco and interacts with the public, cannot stay 6 feet apart at their job, or works directly with people most at risk for COVID-19.

How much is the test?

You will not be charged for the test. If you have health insurance, you will be asked to provide that information when you schedule your appointment.

Who will my results be shared with? (you, ordering physician, appropriate DPH, and DHR if you are an employee of city/county)

You and the physician who ordered your test will receive a copy of your results. We will also share your results with the California Reportable Disease Information Exchange (CalREDIE), as required by law. If you are an employee of the City and County of San Francisco, we will also share your results with the Department of Human Resources and Department of Public Health to keep our workplaces safe and healthy.

How is Color working with the city?

The City and County of San Francisco has partnered with Color to provide COVID-19 testing to essential workers and people who live in San Francisco. Color will prepare your results, notify you when they are ready, and give you a secure way of viewing them online. Color complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA") to maintain the privacy and security of your protected health information.
