How do I return my sample?

  • If your organization provides a drop-box or collection point, bring it to the nearest one on the same day you collect your sample. If you miss today’s last pickup time, ask your COVID-19 test collector for a new kit.

  • If your kit includes a return shipping mailer, your return shipping has already been paid. Find your closest FedEx drop box and the latest pickup times at color.com/fedex-dropbox. If you miss today’s last pickup time, contact mycovidtest@color.com to get a new kit. Your sample must be dropped off on the same day you collect it.

    To return your kit, put the biohazard bag into the return shipping mailer, remove the adhesive strip, and seal the mailer closed. This packaging is designed for carrying samples suspected of carrying infectious substances. Do NOT replace it.

What should I do if I collected my sample, but I missed today’s pick up time?

  • If your organization provides a drop-box or collection point, ask your COVID-19 test collector for a new kit.

  • If your kit includes a return shipping mailer, contact mycovidtest@color.com to get a new kit.

What should I do if I forgot to activate my kit?

  • Your kit must be activated in order for us to process your sample.

  • If you forgot to activate your kit, please contact support at mycovidtest@color.com and we will help you with obtaining a new kit.

How will I know if my sample arrived safely?

  • Once we receive your sample, you will see its information when you sign into your Color account.
