The time it takes to create your results after your sample is received at the lab may depend on multiple factors. These factors can include the data in each unique sample, volume, Color’s policy to confirm all clinically actionable variants using a second technology, and the occasional need to repeat testing due to very high quality control requirements. It is normal for results to take a bit longer or shorter than the average, and this does not mean there is an issue with your sample.
We will notify you via email when your results are ready. In the meantime, we encourage you to provide your health history (if you haven't already) and to prepare for information you'll learn in your results by watching this video about genetic testing.
