What are some of the things I should do with my results?

Discuss your results with your healthcare provider. Knowing that you have a mutation that increases your risk of developing cancer allows you and your healthcare provider to create a personalized screening plan.

Consider sharing your results with relatives. Your results may be important in helping your relatives learn about their own cancer risks.

Speak with a genetic counselor at Color. Genetic counseling is included with every test. You and your healthcare provider are encouraged to discuss any questions you might have about the test and/or your results with a Color genetic counselor or an independent genetic counselor.
